Concept

In the course of my sporting career, I experienced many wonderful, unique and invaluable things, meeting inspiring people. When I was working towards winning my Olympic medals, going through a phase of sporting and personal development, many people passionate about sports aided and supported me.

I would now like to give something back and offer others my help. I would be pleased to lend my name and invest time in helping as many children as possible to gain access to sports – especially the triathlon – and to the pleasures of exercise. The «Pho3nix Kids Triathlon by Nicola Spirig», emphasising the Olympic motto «taking part is more important than winning» organises a number of kids´ races appropriate for children throughout Switzerland, where they can learn about sporting values in a playful manner. I find that sport is a good life school, helping to overcome everyday obstacles and to solve problems.

So that the kids can profit long-term from this project, the «Pho3nix Kids Triathlon by Nicola Spirig» will be used to generate money. This will go to the clubs organising the event, and they will use it 1:1 to offer children regular training sessions, promoting access to sports and supporting young people in the long term.

Sport puts things in motion, and it has my full backing.
